Skylark Cottage - Self-catering holiday cottage in the heart of the Cotswolds

The cottage has a fully fitted kitchen with electric oven, gas hob, microwave and dining table and chairs. As well as the central heating the living room has a gas ’log burning’ stove, comfortable sofas, magazines and a TV/DVD with a collection of DVDs. French doors open out to the patio with table and chairs and the garden with wonderful views of the surrounding countryside, the perfect place to enjoy breakfast or an evening drink.

The cottage bedrooms are furnished with antique pine. There are comfortable beds with crisp bed linen and towels. Both bedrooms also enjoy stunning views.

Blockley is a picturesque Cotswold village with a medieval church, 2 pubs and the fabulous new Village Shop/ Post Office/ Cafe which has WiFi and is famous for its excellent cooked breakfasts and hot chocolate!

Skylark Cottage is within easy reach of Moreton-in-Marsh (trains to London), Stow-on-the-Wold, Chipping Campden, Cheltenham (Races and Festivals), Stratford-on-Avon, Oxford and National Trust properties (Hidcote Manor, Snowshill Manor and Chastleton House). Longborough Opera is popular in the summer. Other Cotswold villages to visit are Bourton-on-the-Water, Broadway and The Slaughters with their shops, traditional pubs and restaurants.
